100 cm Asian-ish streamscape with harlequins

Not a strict biotope, more 'inspired by'. Dragon stone and spiderwood on active soil, Monte Carlo up front, Rotala at the back that I hack down every ten days.
Sixteen harlequins hold a proper school when the gourami is in a mood, which is most days. The kuhlis were a rumour for the first month. Now that there are ten of them they pile up under the same piece of wood and come out at dusk.
Running pressurised CO2 and an all-in-one fertiliser. Lights 7 hours. Soil keeps the pH around 6.6, tap is about GH 6 where I live.

That Monte Carlo carpet is unfair. How long did it take to fill in?

About nine weeks from tissue culture pots. First three weeks it looked like it was dying, then it took off.

Kuhlis as a rumour, yes. Ten is where they start acting like fish instead of ghosts.
